But’s it’s well within Women’s History Month!
I’m calling two of my past short stories to the front, and making them sticky for the rest of the month. The first is directly about International Women’s Day (A Day for Men to Talk about the Women in their Lives) and the other is Our Pastor Is Lazy, which also relates to many things I have been hearing from pastors lately.

I think The Questing Parson hit a home run with his story The Occasional Isolation of Ministry. It reminded me in a tangential way of my previous story, I Have no Gifts.
Having imbibed a fair amount of pro-small-town prejudice in the form of Hallmark Christmas movies (which I actually find relaxing in spite of this), I thought I’d retaliate with a link to my short story About Those Small Town Values, first posted in 2010.
I’m not all that excited about recent posts on statement of purpose, but the Short Mystery Fiction Society blog seems to have potential. We’ll see how often I feel led to link!
