Testing Bloglines
I’m going to be trying bloglines, to see if it will help me get more of the material I flag for posting actually posted!
I’m not all that excited about recent posts on statement of purpose, but the Short Mystery Fiction Society blog seems to have potential. We’ll see how often I feel led to link!
Since I blogged about this Psalm before, and rewrote it into an Italian Sonnet (largely for my own edification, though I couldn’t resist sharing), I thought I’d call attention to my previous post now that it’s the lectionary Psalm for this coming Sunday.

I have to spend too much of December writing things that definitely aren’t eligible, but if you’re a writer, or aspire to be one, I recommend getting involved in something like the December Writing Marathon.
I’m trying to get back to this blog, but paying work continues to intervene, and fiction writing is not paying work for me, nor is reviewing or commenting on fiction. I will get back to posting and even have some plans for some of my material elsewhere. That said, this morning I found a link…
I think The Questing Parson hit a home run with his story The Occasional Isolation of Ministry. It reminded me in a tangential way of my previous story, I Have no Gifts.
